FAQ

When are you open? The resort and spa will be open throughout the year. High season is November to the end of March, we will then offer long weekends throughout the low season.

What is the weather like? The Western Cape has a very similar climate to mid / southern Europe. November to April is considered to be the summer, January and February being the hottest months with temperatures averaging 30 degrees Celsius. The Cape Doctor wind keeps the temperature mild and the air clean from pollution. The winter time is cooler with highs of only 16 and lows of 7 degrees Celsius and often rainy. But a long weekend break in winter with the spa facilities could be ideal for a short naturist get away.

Do you allow day visits to Vasnat? We do allow day visitors the opportunity to use the facilities on offer at Vasnat. For a small fee of R200 per person or R350 for a couple, you will be able to use the pool, spa and gardens as well as enjoy a meal and drink from our kitchen and bar area.

Do you have to go nude? Yes we do expect people to be nude, weather permitting. The pool and spa facilities are strictly nude. If someone is new to naturism but is hoping to try it, we will not force anyone to undress immediately; you can do so at your own speed and comfort.

Where can we be nude? You can be nude on the whole resort at all times, weather permitting. We do not expect guests to dress in the evenings but if they wish to, they are more than welcome. Spa and pool area is compulsory nude

Is it safe in South Africa? The Western Cape is very well set up for tourism. Security is very good we have never felt threatened. Take sensible precautions as you would visiting any new city and always travel with insurance. If you are unsure you can always travel with a tour guide.

Do you allow singles? Yes, we will allow singles but will keep the numbers limited to keep a nice balance of sexes within the resort, for the comfort of all our guests. We do ask for all single travellers to be a member of the INF, Sanfed or your country's equivalent naturist federation.

Who will be visiting the resort? We attract a large number of international clientele as well as South African locals.

How long can we stay? We offer our rooms on a per week basis. Shorter stays may be possible but a minimum of three days.

Can we book through a tour agent? Yes you can we have a list here of all our agents who are working with us to offer you a complete holiday booking service.

Naturism at Vasnat is the enjoyment of being nude with like minded people. It is in no way an opening for public sexual activitives. People who behave otherwise will be removed from the resort with no refund.
