We highly
recommend you hire a car for your stay. This area of South
Africa has so much to offer and the resort is situated in
a remote area of the winelands region with no restaurants
or attractions within walking distance. (The resort restaurant
will be open daily.)
The roads
in and around Cape Town and the Western Cape are very good
with large free flowing motorways and well maintained secondary
roads. You can reach all the main attractions with a standard
car. A 4x4 is only necessary if you plan to explore further
a field.
We must
advise that we are not able to supply short term or short
notice car hire direct from resort. If you wish to hire for
a few days you will have to book this direct with a car hire
company at the airport. There maybe additional charges from
the car hire companies for delivery, collection, contract
fee and extra drivers.
Don't
worry about getting lost as we have "Tom Tom" navigation
systems to fit into your car with all the attractions already
programed in and Vasnat set as your home destination. Cost
only €8 a day or €30 a week. All paid local on arrival.
